Who Are The Geeks?
Ed - Born in the ghetto of Tallahassee, I eventually became an immigrant of Jacksonville, but eventually made my residency in Central Florida. Thanks to my dad, I was raised on reruns of Star Trek: TOS and the Sean Connery James Bond movies. Having Captain Kirk and James Bond as my role models, I began my quest of conquering women at the age of 12 where I quickly found out that Romulan Ale, shakin’ not stirred, does not assist the libido but helps build a callus on the right cheek where I often received the blow from many a open palmed female.
Eventually, being shunned by the female sex, I hibernated into the dark corner of my room in front of a Commodore 64 where I found that the warm glow of a computer screen and the soothing sounds of a modem dialing into a bulletin board became my favorite friend and lover.
Today, I still cower in the dark corner of my office where I troubleshoot Windows issues or improve my bash skills in Linux or prone corners in Day of Defeat, with an occasional break to enjoy the beauty that is Blade Runner on the big screen TV.

Shag - By day, The Irredeemable Shag plays the part of a wealthy industrialist, playboy, and philanthropist. By night, he is a frightening creature that strikes terror into the hearts of criminals! Before earning a bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Florida State University, Shag spent four years managing a comic book and science fiction collectibles store (Cosmic Cat). He then managed multiplex movie theaters for three years, servicing over 1 million patrons annually. Since then Shag has attained a “real job”, settled down and started a family, but still tries to remain active in the world of geek. His primary geek interests are comic books, Doctor Who, Star Wars (classic characters), science fiction in general, and roleplaying games.

Todd - Born on the rough streets of Tallahassee, Todd was raised to be a preppy. Through years of dedication, he has broken free of this mold and constantly upset his parents by being a nerd. After getting an English degree, reading a lot of books, and then going into Accounting, he decided to go back to college and get a degree in MIS (Management Information Systems). Since then, he’s done the odd IT job, and is finally starting a job that promises to be mostly IT. He lives with his wife Holly, an English professor, and their four cats. They have been trying to get Ron to move out since last year, to no avail.

Michael - Born on February 29, 1976 as the youngest for four and the only boy Michael was pretty much screwed from the beginning. Thankfully he discovered cartoons, Star Wars and comic books, which traded one miserable existence to another. Somehow he managed to make it through high school and after a year of college did a whole lot of nothing for five years or so. Defying the odds and causing several people to lose a bet Michael managed to begin dating a woman that actually like and put up with him in 1999 and married her in 2003. He lives in Fayetteville, GA with his wife, their little dog and more comics than a man should own. In addition to the Unique Geek Michael writes reviews for the Superman Homepage and hosts a weekly podcast called Views From The Longbox.
Serv - Born in FL and went to FSU. I don’t remember those 5 years for some reason. I am now grown up and living in the American Arctic. what the hell went wrong?
